Paypal: Keep Track of Online Assets

Paypal can be a very useful tool for internet pioneers such as ourselves. Paypal is almost like having an online wallet to store money purely for online sources. I’m sure you can begin to see the usefulness of this, but I will help you out and explaining more uses of PayPal. PayPal can be used to buy games online, it can be used to buy game subscriptions, pretty much anything that is sold online can be bought somewhere with paypal. And, just imagine, no checks, no debt, no nothing! In this post, I will explain to you how to get started with PayPal, and some of the hints and tricks I have learned throughout my times of using PayPal.

Registration to paypal is incredibly easy. All you need is some information, true or false, and a legit email. From the paypal home page, you will undoubtedly see the register page. If you plan to use the paypal for just yourself, I recommend creating a personal account. If it is for a business of yours, you should consider corporate. They both have their own little upsides and downsides.

One little trick that I have learned about paypal that comes to use while registering is a way to bypass the need to get it verified with a bank account. If you are a teenager reading this wanting to begin making some money, then register the paypal account as though you were in Canada. If you register a Canadian paypal account, you can send money and receive as much money as you would like (within reason) without needing a bank account. Something you do need, however, is a credit card. It is much easier to acquire your parents credit card than it is to get their bank accounts ;) .

Earning money with PayPal is incredibly easy. You can get HTML code to place on your website which places a button there, and anyone who clicks this button can donate to your paypal account! If you have a very quality website, I am sure that there are plenty of people out there willing to contribute using their money to your website. You can also use the “Request Money” feature to ask for money from your friends who are also using paypal. Be careful about sending money though – if your balance is low, then it will automatically take money out of your primary payment source, which could be your credit card (or worse, your parents!)

If you read my other post about making money on the internet, there are many uses for a paypal account that could earn you money. Like PTC (pay to click) sites, advertising, and filling out surveys! All are very ideal ways of earning some cash and doing virtually no work. Preferable to getting a job ;)

Buying things with paypal is even easier than making money with it. Go figure? Well, there are many plusses to using your new paypal account for buying things. The reason being, your bank information or credit card information is completely invisible to whomever you are buying from, unlike if you purchased directly using a credit card. Another good reason to buy using paypal, is that almost every popular store in the US uses paypal, and you are able to purchase from their websites using paypal. PayPal is also a great way to buy from ebay, seeing as they are both owned by the same people and will understand you if you are having any troubles with your purchases.

Making Money on the Internet

As I am sure that some of you probably already know, the internet is like a gold mine just waiting to be excavated. There are so many ways to make money on the internet, it is almost ridiculous. In this post, I am going to discuss a few of the uncountable many ways to do this.

The subjects I will cover are:

  • Pay to Click Sites
  • Pay for Download Sites
  • Advertisements
  • Surveys

Pay to Click Sites

Pay to Click sites, more commonly known as “PTC” sites, are a great, but slow, way to make money on the internet. They are a great way to make money because all you need to do is click on a link to earn some low amount of money. By now, you are probably thinking “Wow! Making money for clicking, what a deal!” Well, there IS a catch. The catch to this, is that PPC sites usually have a restriction on the amount of links you can click within one time span. Another catch is you get at MOST .05 cents (USD) for each link you click. Yet another catch is that you must stay on the website for the link you clicked for some allotted period of time, usually around 30 seconds.

Most PPC sites pay by PayPal or other internet payment systems, although PayPal is honestly the best out there in my opinion. They only pay out once you have earned a certain amount of money, usually $2 USD. Meaning it would be a week of clicking links to get $2, not so good now, is it? It is good for when you don’t need to make a ton of money, but just want to get your toes wet in the money. I will elaborate about these sites in a later post. http://arclicks.com/

Pay Per Download Sites

Pay Per Download Sites are far superior to PTC sites in my opinion. The reason? The payout. If you are willing to put in even a little more effort, than the rewards you can reap are MUCH greater than those you can reap through PTC sites. The idea behind Pay Per Download sites are that you upload files to their servers using their upload tools. Once you upload a file, you are provided with a download link, and ANY way you can get people to download the file will earn you money. The only catch here is that the people who want to download your uploaded files need to fill out a short survey before they can download it. They usually have a set amount you need to earn before you can cash out, and they almost always pay to paypal accounts.

A few great places to put your link to get some serious cash are the chan imageboards. They are incredibly popular, and people on there are usually stupid enough to believe anything you tell them. If you tell them you have some awesome new software free for beta download, they will most of the time download it. Be prepared for being banned a few times, though, because what I am suggesting is usually against their rules. Example: http://sharecash.org/

Advertisements

Advertisements are a great way to make money on the internet, if you are willing to spend a little money to earn a lot of money. Advertisements are things that are offered by company’s for you to place on your website, and they will pay you based on the amount of times the link on your website to theirs is clicked. Google offers a great advertisement program that pays by check. This is great and requires no effort on your part if you have a website with a high amount of views per day, because chances are that lots of people who visit your website will click on an advertisement, if by accident or because it interests them. There are also a lot of advertisement programs out there who will pay to internet sources, such as paypal, but I do not trust them a lot, because not many company’s are going to be as trustworthy as google is, trust me.

If you place an advertisement strategically, where people are bound to click them, then you will make good money. It can be hard to pick a good spot to place them, so I will elaborate about this as well at a later time because this can be an awesome source of money to just sit and do nothing.

Surveys

This one is kind of like PTC in the sense of the catches. The cash amount you get for doing a survey is a usually a lot higher than it would be clicking links on a PTC site, but that is because it takes a lot more effort to fill out an entire survey than it does to click a link and wait. There are restrictions to the amount of surveys you can fill out per day, and they mostly pay to paypal accounts. There are many other rewards for using surveys, though. If you game online, like runescape, WoW, and other similar games, you can fill these surveys out for gamecards, gold, money, and items. They can be quite useful when you don’t want to make money or are in need of some asset help in your games.

Compared to the others, surveys are just not as useful in my mind. They take way too long to fill out, they don’t have the benefits as the others, some of them require information such as credit cards, phone numbers, etc. But, as stated above, are good for other purposes, and when combined with other types, they can be a great way to earn rewards. These are just a few of the many ways to make money on the internet! But, they are a great place to start. I will be posting more on the subject within the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

Rant on Government / School Systems

Ok, I have a serious issue with way the current government is running the school systems. They think that they have the time to do everything they want with me, but I promise – they don’t.
The United States is a predominantly christian country, as you would all agree with me on. According to Christianity and [...]
